How to:

Right-click the your desktop, point cursor to View, and then wait for dropdown list to appears and here you can choose size of your icons – Large Icons, Medium Icons, or Small Icons.

Also, you can clik on your desktop and press and hold CTRL and scroll your mouse wheel to adjust size od the desktop icons.
